How much money will I earn and how much will go to the new and old members? If at all possible, do some homework on the management of the company, and see if they have a good reputation. What success track record do they have, and are they still growing. How much money do I have to put out initially? Do I have to fill my garage with product? Do they have a good training program for their teams and are their products great? You need to understand the business to be a successful Network Marketer. So don’t be afraid to ask the questions. After all it’s your future and your money.

Training programs are always important for those starting out in the Network Marketing business. So it is important that the company or your mentors are willing to teach you the ropes of the company. Are you willing to listen, and put into practice what you learn, to be successful? You have to be honest with yourself.

How much support do those who are above you give? Do they help you when you call for assistance? This is crucial if you are to succeed in the business. Are those above you approachable when you need help? In plain language, how much support is provided when you need it most?

The problem that arises when you start in the Network Marketing business is that you are so busy that you have no time for those in your team. It is essential that you spend time training them as well, so you need to make wise use of your time by setting priorities. For you to be successful in the long-term, you need to do that in order to move your business forward. You also need to build good relationships with those who join your team.

The Internet is an invaluable tool in the Network Marketing industry today. Use it wisely, because there is so much information that can rob you of your time and prove to be useless. Be sure to keep up with proper business practices. Laws and practices change constantly, so be on top of any legal changes that may be in place. Keep up with your paper work. If you have a tendency to procrastinate, not a good idea, you will find yourself in a backlog that will be difficult to catch up. If you are not a paper nut, then it may be wise to hire a pencil pusher.

Until you get on your feet and making a decent income, it is always wise to keep working with your secular job. Run your networking business for some time before pulling the pin from your other job. Be certain that the income is sufficient to support you. Also take care that you do not suffer from burnout while doing this.
