Most of us have heard of Murphy’s Law: “If Anything Can Go Wrong, it definitely will.” Apparently a Second Class Seaman from the 1950s codified this law, “If anything can go wrong, it will.” Murphy’s Law has been around for years. The real truth is that it has been around forever.

What could go wrong, and how will I handle it properly? This enables you to be proactive — instead of reactive. Just knowing the negative possibilities is enough to empower you to land on your feet when knocked over by an unexpected or unwanted change.
Teaching your team in handling objections, role-playing prospecting calls, having a report to hand out that supports the credibility of Network Marketing or explains the ingredients in your products, are all lessons in leadership.

80 percent of what you do, will come from 20 percent of the effort you put in.
Normally 80 percent of all your sales will be generated by 20 percent of your team organization. 80 percent of your volume will come from 20 percent of your product line. The 80/20 Law, coined by Italian engineer Vilfredo Pareto, was originally called the law of the “trivial many.” Running a Network Marketing business is not something that is trivial.
Consider this:
Put your time and effort where you will get the most, and biggest results from your team leaders. Be sure to focus on your team leaders. Sample your very best selling products, and be sure to leverage your effort. Your job is to discover that high performance 20 percent and do more of it.
Network Marketing, more than any other business enterprise Network Marketing depends completely on what you put into this business. That is the law of Network Marketing, and any other business venture.
If you do nothing — your people will follow your poor example too. Sponsor, and train your leaders, and your people will follow that fine example. What you put in is geometrically important — because your team leaders will put it out as well.
Leadership means leading a group of people or an organization. Basically it means you are at the front of the line. So do your job as a leader.
The freedom of our business requires an equal responsibility. The more hard work you put into your business, the more rewards will result.
Positive leadership always has an eye on getting the best results. This is one basic reason you want to grab that new distributor, and go with him or her on the first few presentations, do practice sessions with them yourself, and get a person or two in his or her organization immediately. Work with them, call them, commend them for a job well done, and set a leadership example.

Thomas Samuel Kuhn was an American physicist, historian, and philosopher of science whose 1962 book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions was very influential in both academic, and popular circles, and introduced the term “paradigm shift”, which has since become an English-language idiom. Network Marketing is the paradigm business. Your business opportunity is a new paradigm for your prospects. The possibility of actually living, and working one’s dreams, and aspirations is a new paradigm for almost everybody. You support people in seeing their paradigms, expanding them —and even changing them.
Some feel that all laws are open to interpretation; suggesting that the meaning you give them is your own meaning. Just like a court of law’s job is to interpret the Constitution, the law of the land, it is your job to interpret what has been said above.
