Is Money Life’s Purpose?

Earning money is a necessary part of life and as usual it becomes a true purpose of Life.

We have the responsibility to provide for ourselves, and our families.

What if obtaining money, and the things it can buy becomes more than just a means of sustaining life? What if it becomes your true purpose of life? Whose primary objective is to gain wealth, find it easier to resort to dishonesty to get it. They may not realize until it is too late that dishonesty robs them of true success.

Consider few things to know your true purpose of life

Are you in touch with your true purpose of life? Is your business an expression of that purpose? Does the whole idea of purpose remain a mystery to you? Is it necessary to take a business venture to get that purpose?

What do you consider to be the most practical goal in life? What achievement would make you genuinely happy? Would it be having a successful marriage? Giving your children a fine start in life? Making many friends? Finding joy in living? All of these are worthwhile goals.

However, in our world today there is nothing people think about more often than money. For most people, making money is their true purpose of life. The motivating force behind most people having a job is the fear that without one they wouldn’t have enough money. Job equals security, yet today many have no job security and no gold watch.

A modern myth says that the true purpose of life is to “get, get, and get more.” This promotes conspicuous consumption, and the “Whoever has the most toys wins” syndrome. Or, whoever has the gold makes the rules. If you look closely, you’ll find that this thinking is based on the idea that there is not enough “have, have, have” to go around.

Ask yourself this question: If there really isn’t enough to go around, what will I do to ensure survival for myself and my family?

Answer: “Anything I can!”

One more question to ask yourself: If there were plenty for everybody, what would you do?

Answer: “Whatever I truly wanted.” That is the thinking that advertisers promote when you win the lottery today. Close up shop, and go fishing for the rest of your life.

Consider this:

There comes a time – along the road of your personal discovery when it’s time to pull up stakes, pack up your tent and leave.

When that time comes, there are two important factors for you to consider:

  1. What to pack?
  1. Where are you going?

First, leave your worries on the doorstep. Along with them, leave behind your indifference . . . your blame . . . your over-cautious tendencies… your pettiness… and your doubts.

Try this:

Examine your ideas — your beliefs, and assumptions about life — and leave behind as many as you can that don’t serve. Take only those that are truly empowering. You’ll find that you can carry everything you need, like a hobo with all his belongings in a bandanna, hung from a stick, venturing out beyond your comfort zone with all that matters to you in that little bundle.

Ask yourself: What is really that important to take along? What matters that much to you? What do you need — really need — for your journey?

The answer is: All you really need are your dreams, and aspirations.

Another thing is to consider to understand the true purpose of life:

Millions of people enjoy a degree of material prosperity and making money. Everything seems to be in place for them to find real satisfaction in life, but many still do not. Why? Because time, and again “trouble and hurtful things”—unexpected financial setbacks or bitter tragedies, shatter their treasured hopes and dreams.

This journey calls for looking deeply within your heart.  It calls for being willing to decide what you want your life to really be about.

In a word, it calls for courage. It calls for courage because you have gotten out of your comfort zone and you’re operating outside of the status quo of consensual reality. It calls for courage because a lot of people will think you’re crazy. Courage is having the spiritual, emotional, and moral fortitude to speak, and act without fear in the face of obstacles and dangers. If we have courage, we are strong, valiant, and even bold at times.

If you stay true to your soul searching you’ll discover within you a deeper sense of purpose and you start to live your own dreams. It’s not that hard to find it. It’s found by asking questions such as:

What do I care about? What do I love? Is making money my sole and true purpose of life? If I could do anything at all with my life —ANYTHING — what would I do?

All of these questions point you in the direction of your purpose.

  • What are you willing to take authority for in this world?
  •  What are you willing to bring into being?

To have a true purpose of life is to have a reason for living, a clear objective, and a focal point for our efforts. Can humans really have such a purpose? Yes! The fact that we are endowed with intelligence, conscience, and the ability to reason implies that we can find, and fulfill our true purpose of life.

As you pursue your purpose, begin to look around for who will benefit from your actions. Those people are your new associates. Those people are your new business partners. Those people are your new distributors.

After you find out who your real partners are, find out what they need from you. That’s when all of a sudden; you’re getting paid for having a purpose and you will become a founding member.

Understand this: Nobody else sees the world quite like you do — and nobody else can express your unique and true purpose of life.

The most valuable thing you have to offer the people of the world is bringing your purpose into being.

When you bring your purpose into the marketplace, you have the most unique and valuable product of all.

REPLACE FEAR WITH CURIOSITY Courage Changes Everything.
